All of our farms oppose Contained Animal Farming Operations (CAFO) and are doing their part to provide a fresh and healthy product for our customers.
Many of our farms are certified organic and raise a variety of organic vegetables, organic herbs and organic berries.

Moderately creamy and medium mild with a slight nutty undertone and a rich, round, well-balanced flavor, the Dutch Farmstead is our variation on Gouda. Consistently one of our favorites, the Dutch was recognized both Saveur magazine in 2005 and Slow Food USA in 2003 as one of the best American raw milk farmstead cheeses. Ideal for sandwiches or with crackers and wine, the Dutch has a little more heft than the Bridgid's Abbey, giving it appeal to customers across a wide range of tastes. Melts well. Aged 2 - 4 months.
Cheese is ordered piece, but priced per half pound. The product is weighed at the farm and the balance of the weight is your responsibility, we can recharge your credit card if it's over $5 or you can pay the driver with cash or a check.
Cato Corner Farm makes raw farmstead cheese by hand from the delicious milk of 45 Jersey cows. The cows are humanely raised on a pasture-based diet without growth hormones or subtherapeutic antibiotics. They are fed a small amount of grain to complement the nutrition in the grass and hay. Cato Corner Farm's cheeses are their own unique recipes, based on traditional cheese making styles and highlighting the flavor and terroir of their pastures and farm. Cato Corner Fam is owned and managed by the mother-son team of Elizabeth MacAlister and Mark Gillman.
