All of our farms oppose Contained Animal Farming Operations (CAFO) and are doing their part to provide a fresh and healthy product for our customers.

Many of our farms are certified organic and raise a variety of organic vegetables, organic herbs and organic berries.

Put simply, Dough on Main, now over five years old, offers good food that is made from scratch with quality ingredients in our Deep River prepared foods shop. We are proud to partner with CT Farm Fresh to offer just some of what we create, specifically our fresh soups and pasta, cavatelli and ravioli. Regular pasta flavors, which can be cut as spaghetti, linguine, fettuccine or lasagna sheets, include Egg, Spinach, Herb, Black Peppercorn, and Garlic-Rosemary. Cavatelli is a rich cut pasta made with ricotta cheese. And, of course there are the ravioli: Cheese, Sausage, Spinach-Walnut-Gorgonzola, Beet-Goat Cheese and Shrimp Scampi. Seasonal flavors like Pumpkin, Pea, Mushroom or Lobster are also offered from time to time. Our soups, made with our own house-made stocks ... and like our pasta ... will leave you hankering for more.

At our Main Street location, breakfast (simple fare), lunch, dinner and catering are all available. Although primarily a take-out shop, we do offer limited seating at our communal farm table and small table in the front window ... so stop by for a nibble, to pick up a whole meal, or plan your upcoming event sometime soon.

Dough on Main hours:
Monday-Saturday: 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (Kitchen closes an hour before shop closing.)
