Few might have noticed it but thousands of people may have amassed the build-up of pesticide exposure in their body, which is brought by the years of constant exposure. Such chemical body burden as it’s known in medical field may lead to many health problems like:

  • Birth defects
  • Headaches and;
  • Added strain on immune system

There have been studies as well stating that using even low doses of pesticides are enough to increase risks of certain types of cancers similar to lymphoma, leukemia, breast cancer, brain tumors as well as prostate cancer.

Impact on our Little Ones

Fetuses as well as children are the most vulnerable when it comes to exposure on pesticides for their immune systems, brains and bodies are still in stage of development. The exposure at early age might result to a number of things such as:

  • Behavioral disorders
  • Autism
  • Immune system harm
  • Motor dysfunction
  • Developmental delays

How about in Pregnant Women?

Pesticides can put more stress on a woman’s organ which especially if they’re pregnant. In addition to that, pesticides could be passed from the mother to their child straight in the womb and through breast milk.

This is the same reason why the public is strongly encouraged to eat organic foods instead of GMO foods, even though it is cheaper.
